PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The well block is the heavy refractory block set into the steel ladle bottom that seats the slide-gate inner nozzle and forms the teeming pocket. It must resist steel erosion, thermal shock and the mechanical load of the slide-gate mechanism through the full ladle campaign. IFGL supplies alumina-carbon, alumina-zirconia-carbon and magnesia-spinel-carbon well blocks (1QC/2QC/3QC and FL-series grades).
