PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The tundish nozzle (well nozzle) is the seat against which the monoblock stopper closes, metering steel from the tundish into the mould or submerged entry shroud. Made from isostatically pressed alumina-graphite with optional zirconia bore inserts for anti-clogging, it must hold a precise, erosion-resistant bore through long sequence casts. IFGL supplies standard and hot-change (TCM) tundish nozzle systems.
