Installation notes
- 1Clean furnace shell and apply one coat of release agent before ramming
- 2Ram in 50–75 mm layers using the correct pattern (spiral from bottom up)
- 3Each layer must be uniformly compacted, check with density gauge if available
- 4For induction furnaces: sinter with a gradual heat-up using scrap metal charge
- 5First heat: fill with metal charge, heat slowly to operating temperature, do not tap
- 6Typical sintering cycle: 4–8 hrs at full power to form a glassy bonded shell
