Installation notes
- 1Substrate: smooth, level concrete (± 3mm in 3m), grind high spots, fill low spots with epoxy mortar
- 2Use only acid-resistant tile adhesive mortar (furan-based for strong acids, potassium silicate for milder duty)
- 3Lay tiles with minimum 3mm joint width, do not butt joint
- 4Grout all joints with acid-resistant grout immediately after tile adhesive has set (24–48 hrs)
- 5Seal around drains and wall junctions with acid-resistant flexible sealant
- 6Cure for 5–7 days before any chemical exposure
- 7Test: cover with dilute acid solution for 24 hours before commissioning
