Product Overview
Ceramic fiber products are manufactured from aluminosilicate fibres produced by melting and fiberising a blend of Al₂O₃ and SiO₂. They offer extremely low thermal mass (enabling rapid furnace heat-up and cool-down), very low thermal conductivity, and good resistance to thermal shock.

Frequently Asked Questions
Ceramic fibre is a man-made silicate-alumina fibre with very low thermal conductivity (0.06–0.12 W/mK) and very low heat storage. It is used as a flexible furnace lining for energy savings of 30–50% versus dense brick. Standard forms are blanket, module, board and bulk. Service temperature classes range from 1260°C to 1430°C.
