PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Calcium silicate boards are manufactured by autoclaving a slurry of silica, lime, and reinforcing fibres. They are rigid, dimensionally stable at temperature, and can bear significant compressive loads — unlike ceramic fiber which deflects under mechanical pressure. Essential for applications requiring a firm, flat substrate.

INSTALLATION NOTES

Cut to size using hand saw or jigsaw — no specialist tools required

Attach with stainless steel screws or high-temp adhesive to steel substrate

Butt joints — use ceramic fiber paper (1260°C) to seal joints if gas-tight seal required

Pre-dry if boards were stored in damp conditions before installation (200°C, 4 hrs)
