Installation notes

  1. 1Always pre-heat shroud to 800–1000°C using lance pre-heater before first use
  2. 2Apply anti-oxidation paste to upper flange seating area
  3. 3Argon purging: connect purge line before opening ladle, purge at 10–15 Nl/min
  4. 4Check bayonet lock engagement before casting, loose connection causes steel splash
